Odd Rods
Welcome to the land of the funkiest digital assets!

About Odd Rods

Odd Rods, the wildy famous 70s brand, with it’s big-headed monsters in muscle cars trading card series is now an NFT! Originally produced by Donruss and illustrated from the mind of artist B.K. Taylor, and soon to be available digital assets.

It began in 1969 with the Odd Rods release, consisting of 44 stickers. It continued with a 66-sticker set called Odder Odd Rods, which was produced in 1970 and again in 1973 as Fabulous Odd Rods. Oddest Odd Rods followed later in 1970, continuing the number sequence from Odder Odd Rods, going from #67-132.

An NFT is a non-fungible token that is a unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a digital ledger (blockchain). The buyer will be using the Ethereum token to purchase the NFT, with that come all the standard Ethereum qualities, like gas fees and royalties.

About us

With the ‘vintage’ style back in the mainstream, the unique and quirky look of the Odd Rods fits perfectly between “Metaverse” and the “70s”, which is the vibe we are looking to bring to the future. Odd Rods will potentially be made in a TV animation series, with more details to come in the future.

We believe that each NFT will go up in value when it gets closer to tv cartoon release date (Sept 2022). Our goal is to provide over 100 unique Odd Rods characters in anticipation of our animation launch series.

Mint

Odd Rods will require a community effort, therefore a total of 100 will be available to mint for 72 hours, or a full sell out. The remaining Odd Rods will be used for airdrops, giveaways, contest prizes, and creator invitations into our closed community. As more Odd Rods are released, the more valuable the 1st series will be!

An NFT stands for “Non-fungible token” and is a fancy way of saying it’s a unique, one of a kind digital item that users can buy, own, and trade. Some NFTs main function are to be digital art and look cool, some offer additional utility like exclusive access to websites or participation in an event, think of it like a rare piece of art that can also act as a “members” card.
Metamask is a crypto wallet that can store your Ethereum, and is needed to purchase and mint an Odd Rods. Having a wallet gives you an Ethereum address this is where your NFT will be stored.

Your Odd Rods will appear in whatever address, or connected wallet you used to purchase. You can see your Odd Rods on Opensea.

This sounds awesome, how do I get involved?

Head over to the Discord, jump in on the conversation and let us know your ideas!

That is ultimately a decision for you to make. We believe Odd Rods have a long life ahead of them, and will be an ever growing and evolving project. However the success of Odd Rods relies on so many factors and variables, no one knows!
We have reserved 100 Odd Rods to giveaway in competitions and holder airdrops. Most of these will be given out after launch and will not occupy the early token ids.
